We do our best work when we’re passionate about it. That’s why we focus primarily on projects that improve people’s lives through learning about subjects like inclusion, leadership, mental wellness, health and safety, and emergency preparedness.

We help purpose-driven organizations achieve their goals through custom learning experiences that make a difference.

To build thriving, inclusive, safe, and well workplaces—one learning experience at a time.

Logo for the U.S. Small Business Administration with a banner that reads EDWOSB Certified.

Scissortail Creative Services is an economically disadvantaged, woman-owned small business/small disadvantaged business located in Tuttle, Oklahoma and established in 2020. We help purpose-driven organizations achieve their goals through custom learning experiences that make a difference.

As a small company, we bring a personal touch to every project. And as a disabled-owned company, we have a passion for developing inclusive learning experiences so every learner feels represented, included, and valued. We get especially excited about working with organizations that are helping to change the world for the better—improving people’s lives, workplace culture, or the planet itself.

Meet Our Leadership

I’m Kayleen Holt, the founder of Scissortail Creative Services. I lead a small team of experienced professionals who share my core values and enthusiasm for helping others succeed.

I’ve been designing learning experiences for 30 years. Throughout my career, I’ve led the development of custom learning solutions for dozens of federal government agencies, private sector companies, and nonprofit organizations.

As a neurodivergent person with disabilities, I am passionate about accessibility and inclusion. In fact, I wrote the Inclusive Learning Pledge to start a movement among L&D professionals to create a more inclusive world.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Educational Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education. Get in touch, and let’s change the world together—one learning experience at a time!

What Our Customers Say About Us

What's a Scissortail?

If you’re not from Oklahoma or surrounding areas, you might not have seen one of these beauties grace your skies.

The scissortailed flycatcher is the state bird of Oklahoma, our headquarters.

Just as a songbird activates both sides of its brain when singing, our learning experience design professionals are equally creative and analytical.

We have the talent and skills to analyze your organization’s learning needs and follow through with a well-planned approach and customized, innovative solution.
